Our CELTA training program is approved by the Cambridge University and the Royal Society of Arts (RSA), and licensed by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education of the State of California. The program carries a postgraduate credit recommendation of six semester hours (MA TESOL), issued by The National PONSI. We have produced over 1200 Cambridge certified teachers since 1991.
Our trainers are all dedicated and experienced teachers and trainers. They are passionate about what we do in this profession and in serving the needs of English language students everywhere. The School requires that they have either a Master's degree, extensive experience in teaching, training or writing in ESL/EFL, or certification in CELTA and classroom experience. Every member of our faculty is a highly qualified TEFL professional who has:
- a MA TESOL degree or the Cambridge RSA Diploma in TEFLA
- an absolute minimum 6 years' of TEFL/TESL experience
- taught EFL/ESL in at least three countries
- been approved as a TEFL trainer by both Cambridge and the State of California
They all also need to have worked abroad in at least one other country as well before being qualified to train for us. This ensures that you, as a CELTA or TEFL trainee, will have the most effective training available giving you the broadest range of experience possible and the most in-depth acquaintance with the topics that are critical to your success in the classroom!
