 English Language School in Boston was established in 1996. The school aims to provide quality English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction to everyone who needs it. Our school functions on the theory that small, focused English as a Second Language classes with qualified, native instructors yield the best results.
We want you to do more than learn English - we want you to learn culture! That's why our ESL program emphasizes community involvement. We take learning English outside - through field trips in the Boston area, language partners, visits to public schools, and by encouraging students to participate in volunteer opportunities.
We are proud of our diversity, boasting a mix of students from Asia, Latin America, Europe, and Africa; from Iceland to the Galapagos Islands! Our students grow in this diversity, becoming truly international citizens as they learn and live English and the American culture.

Location and Facilities

We are conveniently located in the heart of Boston. On the Green and Red Lines, we are two blocks from the Park Street stop. On the Orange Line, we are located close to the Lafayette Place/Temple Place exit (Forest Hills platform) or one block from all other exits at the Downtown Crossing stop. On the Blue Line, we are a 5-minute walk from the State Street Stop.
The English Language school in Boston has a student computer lab where you will have unlimited access to to the Internet; e-mail; reading comprehension, pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar games; interactive dictionaries; and TOEFL preparation software. If you have a laptop you can connect to our wireless anywhere in the school for free.
