English in the Workplace courses are designed for adults and young adults to help them develop skills for succeeding at work. This course will help non-native speakers with intermediate level of proficiency in English, and also native speakers, to acquire competencies needed to get jobs, to keep jobs and to advance.
Students will learn speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills as well as the cultural awareness needed to:
- understand how the workplace functions
- learn their jobs well and advance
- get along with fellow employees and supervisors
- adapt comfortably to new demands
For advanced level students we offer English in the Workplace course that builds problem-solving, critical-thinking, and communication skills while integrating speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

English in the Workplace course is offered in mini-group classes for our students enrolled in the Intensive General English Plus program.
English in the Workplace course can be also taken separately as a private one-to-one course with flexible schedule to meet your specific needs and goals. 10 one-to-one lessons minimum. The tuition fee is $36.00 per lesson.
