At our English Language school in New York City, the TOEFL Preparation Class has been updated to help international students who are preparing to take the TOEFL iBT exam for entrance into North American colleges and universities. This comprehensive course helps students prepare for all sections (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) of the TOEFL iBT test by developing special skills and strategies that lead to more efficient test taking. The TOEFL iBT Preparation Course can help you reach your goals. With a maximum of 14 students, you are sure to get the extra attention you need to succeed.
 Our TOEFL iBT Preparation Class meets five days per week. Students work with two different instructors and the most up-to-date, effective textbooks and materials available. There is a two-part approach to the TOEFL iBT Preparation Class. First, we focus is on improving your English skill. Students work on vocabulary building, critical listening and reading, essay writing, and speaking.
 The second focus is on building TOEFL skills and test strategies to help you get a good score. Every TOEFL iBT exam is different, but each test has the same types of questions. We help you get familiar with the kinds of questions TOEFL asks. Once each week, students sharpen their skills by taking practice TOEFL tests - a great way to build test taking stamina and monitor your improvement. At the end of each four-week session, each student has a one-on-one counseling session with one of their teachers. This is how we help you monitor your progress. After each three month semester, students receive a report card. All students receive a certificate.
All students applying for the TOEFL iBT Preparation Class must take our TOEFL placement exam in order to determine their current TOEFL Level. This exam is offered free of charge and obligation, and is offered by appointment only. A minimum score of (PBT) 470 or equivalent is required to join the TOEFL class. If you have already taken the TOEFL exam in the past year and have a score report showing that you have achieved at least our minimum score requirement, we will waive the placement exam. Exceptions to this policy are at the discretion of the Academic Coordinator.

TOEFL preparation course is available as a ful-time course with 24 lessons a week at St. James Building Campus and as a course with 20 morning lessons a week at the Fifth Avenue Campus.
The TOEIC test is becoming widely recognized as a standard international test of English for the business professional. International companies and airlines alike require the TOEIC certificate.
We offer TOEIC prapration course at the Fifth Avenue Campus. The course includes 20 morning lessons per week of TOEIC examination preparation, including work on related academic study skills. TOEIC examinations are held regularly throughout the year.
