At our English Language School in Denver, Business English courses are designed with the executive in mind, and courses are custom designed to meet our students' individual needs and interests. The Director and ESL Director will work individually with you to carefully select a curriculum that meets your special needs. Your background in English, your goals in learning, as well as your job-related English needs are all taken into consideration when deciding on curriculum to be used in your course of study.
You can choose from among a variety of Elective Business English courses to enhance your English language training.
These elective courses have been carefully pre-selected by our Curriculum Department from among more than 300 different publications. They are available as supplements to our time-tested and proven core curriculum.
Although the majority of these elective courses are available to advanced level students only, there are several basic and intermediate level choices. Review the following descriptions, select the material that best suits your needs and interests, and let your Advisor know your choices. The elective courses are listed by their prerequisite proficiency level.
Level 0. Beginner.
Business Correspondence
An introduction to the proper formats and approaches used in basic office correspondence. This program offers practice in business writing with exercises to boost grammar and punctuation skills. Included in the writing practice are model letters, faxes, and memos, with business vocabulary, styles and procedures used in writing.

Each chapter of the story presents new business vocabulary and expressions related to that phase of developments. This program will walk the student through the various stages involved in establishing a new company while introducing the vocabulary related to that stage. Practice with reading, speaking, and grammar are offered throughout this program.
