All IPSA English Language Schools offer General English as a Second / Foreign language (ESL/EFL) immersion courses at all levels - from beginners to advanced learners. On your first day at the school, you will be tested and placed in appropriate group.
Our General English courses are designed for adults and all our English language schools have students of different ages - from 18 to 78 years of age. Some schools also accept younger students (14 - 17 year old).
The emphasis of General English courses is on communication skills and includes listening comprehension, textbook study, practice in the key structures of English and pronunciation practice. The courses also cover all aspects of grammar, reading and writing and communication in detail. All courses are taught in English.
General English courses have different intensity from 15 to 30 hours a week. You can study from one or two weeks to an academic year (32 - 40 weeks).
General English courses are offered at all schools year-round and in most cases you can start the course any Monday if you are not a complete beginner.
