It is close to Georgetown University, George Washington University, American University, Mount Vernon College, and other well known institutions of higher education that offer further opportunities for academic growth.
All of our students are encouraged to participate in activities which include excursions to nearby attractions (the Smithsonian Museums, the Kennedy Center, the White House, the Capitol, the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial, the Jefferson Memorial, the Vietnam Veterans' Memorials, and many more). The National Cathedral is within walking distance of the center. If you are interested in sporting events and concerts, you can visit the Verizon Center, the home of the Washington Wizards basketball team.
